Privacy policy.

Last updated October 5, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Corbitt Marketing (“we”, “us”) collects through corbittmarketing.com and by email, why, and what you can do about it. We’re based in Alberta, Canada, and we handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

The short version: this site has no contact form, no tracking cookies and no advertising pixels. We only get personal information if you choose to email us.

What we collect

Things that stay on your device

The email drafter on our Contact page and any website preview we send you run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us unless you choose to email it. A website preview may save your changes in your browser’s local storage so you don’t lose your work; you can clear this at any time through your browser settings.

How we use it

We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They only process information as needed to provide their service:

Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

How long we keep it

We keep emails and client records only as long as we need them to respond to you, deliver work, or meet legal and tax obligations. If we don’t end up working together, you can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent to us using it, subject to any legal requirements. Email hello@corbittmarketing.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
